Microshading is a form of semi-permanent eyebrow makeup that provides a less intense look than Microblading while adding color and shape. Microshading is done by digital machine device to create a soft shading powder effect which in turn has better longevity and more definition/coverage. Microshading is ideal for clients with oily, thicker, and more matures skin types.
Requirements before Microshading;
*No Botox treatment should be done 3 weeks prior or 3 weeks after procedures. *No Covid vaccine 2 weeks prior procedure. * No chemical peels 60 days before or after procedure ( brows will peel quicker due to chemicals traveling under the skin.) *No acne medication Accutane 6 months before procedure. *No Retinols/Retin-A or other anti-aging/acne creams, or serums containing acids as these will fade brows prematurely.Retinol makes the skin more sensitive due to increased cellular turnover,affecting retention quality. *Do not work out or sweat heavily the day of the procedure ( 2 weeks after) *Do not tan or have a sunburned face the day of the procedure. *No waxing or tinting 3 days before procedure. *No Aspirin, Niacin,Vitamin E, Fish Oil,CoQ10 and Ibuprofen 48 hours before procedure. *No alcohol or caffeine 24 hrs before procedure.
Contraindications;
*Sick with cold, flu or sinus/respiratory infection. *Skin irritations including;sunburn ,rash, eczema, shingles,acne or psoriasis near to the treated area. *Pregnant or nursing. *Lupus (medication has something to do with retention/sometimes not holding pigment. *Under age 18. *Had Botox within 3 weeks from scheduled appointment. *Used Accutane the last 6 months. *Diabetes 2/ these clients are more prone to infections and longer period of healing/needs doctors note. *Epilepsy. *Undergoing Chemo. *Prone to Keloid scarring. *Pacemaker or major heart problems. *Had an organ transplant. *Viral infections and or diseases. *Transmittable blood disease.
